| I bought this stroller a few months ago and I have to say that I am totally impressed with it. I considered the double BOB but this stroller was a better choice hands down. I had a BOB single but always felt like my little boy was hunched over a bit. This stroller has a higher back so he has plenty of growing room. It's great on all terrain. It has front and back shocks and it is just a comfortable ride. I have my kids in it for 1-2 hours at a time and they seem to be very comfortable. I really like the quick fold and I also like that the handle bar sits high up. It doesn't adjust but it is high enough that I never have issues with kicking the back of it. Neither does my husband and he is 6'2. I just love it and would recommend this double to anyone. It's awesome! |

This stroller is awesome. It pushes through snow with ease. The sun shades actually cover the kids and the seat backs are really tall. My two year old loves it and my 6 year old fits comfortably. I wish I would have bought this stroller years ago. Way better than the in-step I have used for the last 3 years. I would highly recommend this stroller. The handle seemed really high, but it is really comfortable to push, especially with the baby in the front carrier. The belly bar (purchased seperately) is adjustable and I attached cup holders for the kids.
Only two cons:
No parent tray
Storage is minimal |
we have used it for two hours...but

It can go anywhere...except in some doors. Can go over anything...our Son is super comfortable in it (two year old)and my wife is due in a week...but it is embarrassingly large...think the hummer of strollers. We are keeping it, but we have a single Mclaren for getting around with ease as my son normally walks.
We do a lot of outdoor stuff...both urban and rural...this will do the trick. But maneuvering through a restaurant last night...well its kind of like driving a Hummer through the suburbs(but with much better gas mileage).
Will update over time. |
So happy!

| My husband and I already own a single City Classic Baby Jogger and were so happy with it we decided to splurge when we found out we were expecting our second. The cost was hard, especially with the recession, but we couldn't be happier! It is a bit bulky and heavy compared to the single, but it still fits in the trunk of our car and you can still close it just as easily as the single by pulling the handles in the seats. The quality shows, as we have loaded the stroller up for day trips and it maneuvers great. We live in a rural area, so the roads aren't the greatest. While walking with friends I can't help but chuckle as their strollers jump from side to side when hitting bumps or rocks while mine pushes so smoothly. I love our stroller! |
Summit Double Experience after 6 months

Like many, I've owned a Bob Revolution single for 3 years. It's been an excellent stroller, however decided to buy the Summit Double based on a few gripes I had with Bob. In the end, I traded some gripes for other new gripes and not sure I'd do it again.
Bob Revolution Single gripes:
1) Not enough head room
2) Fixed snack tray/carseat adapter - screws in, so not easily removed to change from toddler stroller to baby stroller. Nice to have a simple way to change in the event you're just taking one kid.
Baby Jogger Summit 360 Double gripes:
1) stroller collapses in a way that if you have the carseat adapter installed, it makes for a very awkward shape and quite large. We have a full size SUV and it takes up a lot of room and my wife can barely handle it folded. The Bob collapses like a shell, with the carseat adapter inside the shell.
2) the two front wheels make for better stability, but not as easy to turn/maneuver as the Bob, especially when you have it loaded up.
3) the handlebar angle and placement result in an occasional kick to the rear axle. This problem will only be an issue if you're tall. The Bob handle places you farther away from the stroller.
My wife wants me to sell this and get a Bob, so I may be changing soon. To add, the brake on the Summit is now broken. In Baby Jogger's defense, this may have been caused by our new nanny. Worked fine and now won't hold the stroller. The brake on the Bob seems to be a bit sturdier compared to the Baby Jogger. I will call them to get fixed...
In the end, they're both very well made and compared to my 3yr old Bob, the Baby Jogger is very refined in terms of the quality materials and fit/finish. The gripes above though are significant and very unfortunate for what could be an excellent product. |
